Custom Plat Maps for Realtors

The Neighborhood Property Owners' Association (NPOA) is donating customized maps of Fountain Hills, with NPOA-affiliated plats highlighted, to all the local real estate brokerage offices and title companies.

"We interact with local realtors every day," said NPOA Executive Director Kim Robertson. "They are the first line of communication with the homeowners, and they are required to inform their clients when a property is located within NPOA jurisdiction. We want to make it easy for them to do that."

The NPOA worked with Ken Valverde at the Town of Fountain Hills Development Services to create the map. "We think it's beautiful, and we appreciate Ken Valverde's fine work," Robertson added. "We're getting great feedback from realtors and title companies as we distribute the maps. Some of them were surprised to realize that the NPOA covers about half of the properties in Fountain Hills."

For further information, the NPOA can be reached at 480-837-5317.

We had some surprise gifts at this meeting. The President marked the underside of a couple of chairs before the meeting. At the close of the meeting he had members check their chairs and the two with the lucky green stickers were awarded a gift. The gifts were a small tote bag and a coffee mug, both proudly displaying the NPOA log.

The Board wants to thank all who attended. We got some very good feedback & suggestions for improvement from our Delegates and members. Thank You! If you weren't able to attend this year, please plan on attending next year.
For those that were unable to attend we have provided the President's Report as well as the slides that went along with his and all the presentations.

NPOA Supports Downtown Mural Project

The NPOA is proud to announce it has donated $500 to the Painted Petals mural project at Fountain Park.

Painted Petals project logo Painted Petals will consist of painting the 300' long wall that surrounds the pump house in Fountain Park. The wall will represent desert flowers in bloom, complementing the surrounding desert landscaping to give the park the appearance of being in bloom all year round.

You can't capture it all in one photograph. Here is a photo taken on November 25th. Click photo to enlarge

The project was a joint effort of the Fountain Hills High School graphic design, photography, CAD, and business students who partnered with the art program to design and create a mural on the wall at the Fountain Park. It is a joint semester long project. Business students had a contest to create a mission statement for the project and the winner was from Brooke Crothers.

Mission Statement To portray the beauty of the desert through color and design. To showcase the talents of Fountain Hills High School's art and graphics classes and bring awareness of their creativity to both residents and tourists of Fountain Hills, AZ.

2013 Fountain Hills Volunteer, Club & Organization Expo

The NPOA staffed a table at the 2013 Fountain Hills Volunteer, Club & Organization Expo that was held on Wednesday October 2nd in the Fountain Hills Community Center.

The Association attends this expo to increase Fountain Hills residents awareness of the NPOA and it's function. Because the NPOA is over 20 years old and does not collect any monthly dues many property owners are unaware that they are members. These kinds of events help us educate the property owners, both those who are members and those who are not as to what we do for the community.

If you are an NPOA Member and are interested in any of the following areas of service:
